Craftsmanship rooted in European tradition
The bakeries of Europe are filled with handcrafted extraordinary creations. These staples of craftsmanship, so lost in today's fast-paced world, were the inspiration for Master Baker and Master Pastry Chef Ziggy Cichowski and Executive Chef Patricia-Ann Donohue to open their bakery Maple Street Patisserie.
Pastries and breads bring a memory to you from another time or another place–a time when baked goods were a marvel of ingenuity and simplicity. All of our recipes are based from Master Chef Ziggy's studies throughout Europe, in countries such as Austria, Italy, Germany, France and of course his homeland Poland.
Join us in the superior taste, from our flakey croissants to our decadent dark chocolate cake with rich Belgium fudge icing. Or try a puff pastry bear claw filled with almond paste, raspberry and cinnamon. For breakfast we serve silky and light muffins, with fresh fruit and topped with rock sugar or oats. Our European breads range from Russian pumpernickel to rustic French baguettes. Savory sandwiches are delicious ingredients between excellent bread. Our sandwiches are both traditional and playful.
